How to make it

  • Place roast in the slow cooker bowl and add the liquid smoke, Worcestershire sauce, onion and stock.
  • Cook on low about 6-7 hours, until roast falls apart or shreds easily with two forks.
  • Shred completely.
  • Stir well.
  • Add BBQ sauce and mix well.
  • Remain cooking another hour or so, stirring often, until desired consistency and warmed through.
  • Serve on the buns!

    Unfortunately, no Bambi here but a chunk of our usually tough and very lean range fed beef should do. Neat post. RJ

    This sounds great :) There are 2 things I never had and am very curious on: venison and used liquid smoke. I will look for the liquid smoke next time I pop in a delicatessen.
