Portuguese Char-Grilled Shrimp with Lemon Butter

- 12 wild gulf prawns, shell on, deveined and butterflied shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter shopping list
- splash of olive oil shopping list
- 1 clove garlic, crushed shopping list
- 1 lemon, sliced (divided) shopping list
- fresh ground pink himalayan salt & fresh ground black pepper shopping list
- fresh parsley, minced shopping list
- Piri Piri sauce, to serve shopping list
How to make it
- Place butter, olive oil, garlic, half of lemon and some fresh parsely in a small saucepan. Heat until butter melts and is infused with the garlic and lemon.
- Lay prepared shrimp out on a platter, Season lightly with salt and pepper. Lightly baste with lemon butter.
- Heat a charcoal grill and lay shrimp open side down, with the remaining lemon slices. Grill for 1-2 minutes them flip, basting with a bit more of the lemon butter.
- Transfer shrimp to serving platter when done and pour remaining lemon buttter on top. Serve with Piri Piri and grilled lemon slices.
