Thick And Sticky Candied Sweet Potatoes

- 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed shopping list
- 1/2 cup corn syrup shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter shopping list
- 6 pared, cooked sweet potatoes (or 1 one pound can) shopping list
- heavy skillet shopping list
How to make it
- Combine sugar, butter, syrup boil and reduce heat.
- Add potatoes and keep basting cook covered on low heat only turning one time,after 15 minutes.
- Then remove cover keep basting with cover off for at least another 15 mintes
- I have only used fresh potatoes. I think the can would make it to juicy and would not get so thick. I suggest you cook or bake the potatoes and forget using can.
