Dantes Pleasure Fondue Recipe
Don't be fooled by this innocuous looking Fondue. It will warm the Hearts & Souls of your guests on those up and comming cold winter gatherings

Ingredients
  • 1lb Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2lb Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup fresh oregano
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 Bottle (fifth) dry white wine
  • 1 Head garlic (medium)
  • 3 oz white tequila
  • 2 Tbsp corn starch
  • 1 cup New Mexico peppers (roasted peeled seeded finely chopped
  • Chiltipin powder to taste

Directions
  1. Grate cheeses and set aside.
  2. Finely chop oregano & cilantro set aside.
  3. Add to heavy saucepan the fifth of wine to this add garlic finely chopped.. Set over medium high heat.
  4. Dissolve corn starch with tequila and add to saucepan.
  5. When wine forms foamy bubbles over surface, but is not boiling, gradually add the cheeses.
  6. Stir with wooden spoon keeping heat just under a boil.
  7. When mixed, add cilantro, oregano, chopped New Mexico peppers and chiltipin powder.
  8. Reduce heat and stir until smooth.
  9. Cut up French bread into large chucks and dip
  10. Keep fondue over a low heat
