Ingredients

How to make it

  • Combine the bourbon, oil and syrup
  • Place salmon in a zip-lock bag or glass bowl
  • Cover salmon with the bourbon mixture
  • Marinade the salmon 2-4 hours, may be longer, turning occasionally
  • To prepare:
  • remove salmon from the liquid
  • salt and pepper the salmon
  • Grill, broil or bake the salmon until done
  • Note: discard marinating liquid or baste salmon if desired with it.
  • Otherwise discard the liquid

    This was amazingly simple and really delicious! Love the bit of sweet with the salmon. I took a salmon fillet, took the skin off and cut it into four pieces. Grilled it on my charcoal grill. I didn't really time it. Just took them off when they looked done. Probably a total of 10 minutes. I am definitely going to make this again. Thanks for posting this yummy recipe. I added my picture and a link in IMI 5/17/14
