How to make it

  • I always take my sourdough starter out the night before. I don't think it is necessary for quick bread but I do it anyway.
  • Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 9” square baking pan.
  • Stir together dry ingredients. Combine starter, oil and egg. Add to dry ingredients and stir to combine.
  • Pour batter into greased pan.
  • Crumble topping ingredients together using a pastry blender and sprinkle on top of batter.
  • Bake for 35 minutes. Let cool 1/2 hour before cutting.
