Apple Cobbler Dump Cake

I discovered this recipe on the internet : http://www.cometogetherkids.com/2012/09/apple-cobbler-dump-cake-with-fresh.html It was easy and kid friendly. I do agree with their comment that you do not need the entire box of cake mix.
Ingredients
- 1 box of cake mix (I used cherry chip, they called for yellow cake) shopping list
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) of butter (not margarine) shopping list
- 5 to 7 apples, sliced and cored, peels left on shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Pour apples into a 9 x 13 pan.
- Sprinkle cake mix over the apples. I used the entire box but you probably could use less.
- Melt 1 stick of butter and drizzle over the cake mix.
- Bake 30 to 45 minutes or until done.
