How to make it

  • Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes or until tender. You may need to add a little water if the liquid evaporates too quickly. Stir occasionally.

    Jan 6/17 - made this recipe again and family loved it. The only change I had done was use buckwheat honey which is sweeter than honey so I cut it back to 3 tbs. and the carrots were fabulous.
