Fudgey Saucepan Brownies Recipe

Fudgey Saucepan Brownies Recipe
We like our brownies rich and moist. If you do, too, then you will like this almost fudge-like brownie. It goes together quickly, and disappears even quicker. It doesn't need any frosting - just a nice dusting of powdered sugar works perfect.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter (2 sticks)
  • ¾ cup cocoa (I like to use the Special Dark cocoa)
  • 2¼ cups white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1¼ cups flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

Directions
  1. Melt butter in medium saucepan.
  2. Stir in cocoa until smooth.
  3. Remove pan from heat, and add sugar, vanilla, salt and eggs.
  4. Beat mixture until well blended.
  5. Add flour and baking powder; mix together well.
  6. Spread into greased 9x13 baking dish.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Do not overbake!
  8. Cool completely before cutting into bars (if you can wait that long - I never can)
