Nawlins Shrimp Creole Recipe
Quick and easy. A blend of Creole/Canjun Flavors, add little crab meat for a nice addition.

Ingredients
  • 6 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 medium Onions (diced)
  • 2 Green Peppers (chopped)
  • 1 cup diced Celery
  • 6 Gloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 28 ounce can Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ teaspoon fresh Ground Black Pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon Paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon ground Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Powder (McCormick)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped Parsley
  • 2 pounds cooked Shrimp
  • Louisiana Hot sauce
  • ½ Fresh Lemon (squeezed)
  • 6 cups cooked Rice

Directions
  1. In saucepan heat E.V.O.O, sauté onion, celery, green pepper until tender.
  2. Add tomatoes, salt, black pepper, paprika, chili powder, Worcestershire Sauce parsley stir. Simmer for 30 minutes occasionally stirring. Add cooked shrimp and hot sauce to taste simmer another 3 minutes to warm shrimp add lemon juice.
  3. Serve over hot rice.
