Nawlins Shrimp Creole

- 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- 2 medium onions (diced) shopping list
- 2 green peppers (chopped) shopping list
- 1 cup diced celery shopping list
- 6 Gloves garlic (minced) shopping list
- 1 28 ounce can diced tomatoes shopping list
- 1 ½ teaspoons salt shopping list
- ½ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper shopping list
- ¼ teaspoon paprika shopping list
- ¼ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1 tablespoon chili powder (McCormick) shopping list
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley shopping list
- 2 pounds cooked shrimp shopping list
- louisiana hot sauce shopping list
- ½ fresh lemon (squeezed) shopping list
- 6 cups cooked rice shopping list
How to make it
- In saucepan heat E.V.O.O, sauté onion, celery, green pepper until tender.
- Add tomatoes, salt, black pepper, paprika, chili powder, Worcestershire Sauce parsley stir. Simmer for 30 minutes occasionally stirring. Add cooked shrimp and hot sauce to taste simmer another 3 minutes to warm shrimp add lemon juice.
- Serve over hot rice.
