Very thick lemony Bars

- 2 1/4 c Sifted flour shopping list
- 1/2 c Sifted powdered sugar shopping list
- 1 c Cup butter shopping list
- 8 eggs shopping list
- 3 1/2 c Granulated sugar shopping list
- 1 c lemon juice shopping list
- 4 ts Lemon zest; grated shopping list
- 1 ts baking powder shopping list
- 1 tb Unsifted flour shopping list
How to make it
- Crust:
- Sift together sifted flour and powdered sugar.
- Cut in butter until mixture resembles crumbs.
- Pat in bottom of 13x9" baking pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees F. until golden brown.
- Filling:
- Beat eggs with granulated sugar and stir in lemon juice, zest,
- baking powder and unsifted flour.
- Mix well.
- Pour over crust. Bake at 350~ 45 minutes.
- Cut into 32 (1-1/2x2") bars.
