Ingredients
  • 6 cups Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 Cups Brown Sugar
  • 1-2 Cups Chopped Pecans (or the nut of your choice)
  • 1 Cup Golden Raisins
  • Butter

Directions
  1. To a large mixing bowl add all ingredients.
  2. Toss well, then drizzle with melted butter until lightly and evenly coated (1-2 sticks).
  3. Spread mixture out on a large jellyroll pan or any shallow pan.
  4. Toast and Stir in a 325 degree oven to desired doneness.
  5. Usually about 45 minutes.
  6. Store when cool in an airtight container.
  7. Great as a cereal with Milk or Yogurt, a trail mix or a topping for yogurt, ice cream, cobbler, etc. Enjoy! :)

This sounds great... I was just looking for this type of recipe today..... wanted to make a parfait with it and use yogurt and fruit...

Forgot to get back to you on this... I made it and the Grand kids ate it in a week-end.. Making it when we go on vacation as a snack for in the van! Wonderful!
