This is a family fav.It is rich and flavorful and leaves them wanting more.Serve with mashed potatoes,rice or egg noodles.
Ingredients
- 4lbs pot roast shopping list
- 10 1/2 oz double strength beef broth shopping list
- 1/4 cp soy sauce shopping list
- 2 tsp red pepper flake shopping list
- 3tbsp horse radish shopping list
- 2cp shiraz or any red wine(linderman shiraz goes great in dish and glass) shopping list
- 10oz chili sauce shopping list
- 2tblsp basil garlic oregano tomatoe paste shopping list
- 2cps roasted crushed tomatoes or regular crushed shopping list
- 2tbsp baking cocoa shopping list
- 1tsp fresh rosemary chopped shopping list
- 2tsp dried oregano shopping list
- 1 large onion chopped shopping list
- 10 cloves garlic minced shopping list
- 1 package bella mushrooms sliced shopping list
- cajon seasoning for rubbing meat shopping list
- 1/2cp flour shopping list
- 1/2cp cream shopping list
- 2tbsp butter shopping list
How to make it
- rub meat with cajun spice or paprika black pepper garlic powder salt mixture
- dredge in flour
- brown in cast iron skillet with veg oil
- put all ingredients in slow cooker
- cook 5 to 6hrs till meat is tender
- add cream
- make a rue wth left over flour and butter to thicken sauce
