Perfect Ceviche Recipe
Thought I would mention that this is heart healthy and this ceviche gets the low-fat, low-cholesterol seal of approval...:)

Ingredients
  • 3 pounds fresh Pacific whitefish, snapper, or speckled trout
  • 6 limes
  • 3 to 4 tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 to 5 jalapeƱos, seeded and chopped
  • 1 larger onion, chopped
  • 1/4 to 1/2 bunch cilantro, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Directions
  1. Cut fish into 1/2-inch cubes.
  2. Marinate and chill fish at least 4 hours in juice of 3 limes.
  3. Pour off liquid.
  4. Mix in remaining ingredients except limes.
  5. Squeeze juice of remaining limes on top.
  6. Serve with fresh tostadas or in chilled avocado halves.

Hey Noir.. this is the same as how I make mine, except,I use serrano peppers.. and please.... , Gulf of Mexico fish! LOL This is an excellent recipe, everyone should give it a test! Yummy..

Woohoo that is spicier than mine...you are right...yours is perfect.


This recipe looks great, and it sounds just like the kind my mom and I used to eat in Costa Rica. We could eat a whole casserole dish of this stuff in one sitting. Can't wait to try it :)


I can't ever get enough Ceviche. I just keep eating it until I explode... Great Recipe
