Texas Caviar Recipe
This is a great dish to be made in Texas in the summer, because you don't have to turn the stove on!!!

Ingredients
  • 2 cans blackeyed peas (drained)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup sliced purple onion
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper (diced)
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp hot sauce

Directions
  1. Mix together, Cover and chill. Garnish with sliced tomatoes if desired.
