Ingredients

How to make it

  • Beat egg yolks til thick and lemon colored; gradually beat in 1/4 cup sugar and vanilla.
  • Beat egg whites till almost stiff. Fold yolks into whites then add sifted dry ingredients, folding in carefully.
  • Bake in wax paper lined 10 1/2 x 15" pan at 375* 12 minutes. Loosen sides and turn out onto towel sprinkled with powdered sugar. Remove wax paper Trim crust. Roll quickly with fresh sheet of wax paper on inside of roll Wrap in sugared towel; cool Unroll, remove paper spread with jelly or other favorite filling (Whip Cream and fruit, Lemon Curd, etc) Roll up again and refrigerate. I use Whip Cream and fresh strawerrys in, Enjoy!

    This turned out pretty well. Unfortunately mine was a bit crumbly though, not sure what I did wrong. For filling I mixed cream cheese with homemade spiced peach jam.

    Oh I love Strawberries and I found one I had lost that was the same as yours so YAHOO on that. Loved the pictures and the Recipes. Love look..guess I'll have to drool today.. :)
