Okra Stew

- One 16 oz frozen crawfish tails ( available everywhere ) defrosted shopping list
- 2lbs okra ( fresh or frozen or for the faint of heart canned0 Chop okra into little slices shopping list
- 1 ounce of olive oil shopping list
- 1.2 cup sausage of choice CHOPPED shopping list
- 1 large onion shopping list
- 1 stalk celery shopping list
- 2 tablespoopns garlic shopping list
- 2 tomatoes chopped ( fresh) shopping list
- 1 tablespoon basil shopping list
- 1 tablespoon black or red pepper shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt I use sea salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup Green bell pepper (chopped) shopping list
How to make it
- Cook okra down in oliive oil until the slime decreases
- Add sausage and cook for 15 minutes stirring occasionaly
- Now add seasonings to the mix
- cook till onions start to gloss.
- Add crawfish tails, salt.pepper and basil and cook for another 10 minutes
- Add tomatoes and cook till all ingredients are done
- I serve this with my Oven baked pork chops and creamy mashed potatoes with garlic
- Have a glass of wine on me
- Enjoy!
