SPINACH LINGUINI AND SHRIMP

- INGREDIENTS: shopping list
- 2 TBLS butter OR olive oil shopping list
- 2 TBLS all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1/2 - 1 TSP curry powder shopping list
- 2 CUPS milk shopping list
- 1/2 LB UNCOOKED shrimp shopping list
- 3/4 CUP PARMESAN OR ROMANO GRATED cheese shopping list
- 12 OZ (REFRIG SECTION) spinach OR OTHER pasta COOKED AND DRAINED AL DENTE IN saltED water AND TEASPOON OF oil shopping list
- fresh basil leaves FOR GARNISH (OPTIONAL) shopping list
How to make it
- CLEAN SHRIMP
- IN A MEDIUM SAUCEPAN OVER MED-HIGH HEAT, MELT BUTTER OR HEAT OIL.
- IF USING OIL HEAT PAN FIRST BEFORE ADDING
- STIR IN FLOUR AND COOK UNTIL BUBBLY (1-2 MIN)
- BLEND IN CURRY POWDER AND MILK
- BRING TO LOW BOIL
- REDUCE HEAT TO MEDIUM
- COOK, SITTING OR WHISKING OCCASIONALLY
- UNTIL SLIGHTLY THICK AND SMOOTH (3-4 MIN)
- FOLD IN SHRIMP AND CHEESE
- STIRRING TO BLEND JUST UNTIL SHRIMP ARE PINK
- POUR OVER HOT PASTA AND GARNIsH WITH BASIL LEAF AS DESIRED
- DELICIOSO!!!!!!! AND EASY AND FAST
