Great way to eat garlic...simply roasted to use in place of butter on bread. So delicious!

Ingredients
  • 4 whole garlic bulbs
  • Extra Virgin Olive oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper

Directions
  1. Cut off the top of the garlic so that it is flat.
  2. Lay the garlic stem down in a baking dish.
  3. Saturate with olive oil.
  4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake for one hour at 350°.
  6. Serve warm on a platter or on individual butter dishes for guests to eat.
  7. **Use as a condiment and spread on hot crusty bread instead of butter. **
  8. **Optional: For Dipping Sauce for Bread: Squeeze out 1 roasted garlic bulb , smoosh and put on a plate with olive oil, red pepper flakes a pinch of basil and a sprig of rosemary for garnish.** :)

A person can never have too much garlic in my opinion. I love this on crusty bread with Parmesan.

I use almost the same recipe, but add Parmesan cheese as well. I can't get enough garlic!!!
