How to make it

  • Drain pineapple and reserve juice.
  • Place potatoes in a 1-1/2 quart casserole dish.
  • Mash potatoes with a potato masher.
  • Add drained pineapple, brown sugar, ground cinnamon and hot cinnamon candies.
  • Add pineapple juice then mix well to blend all ingredients.
  • Let potatoes sit at room temperature for 1 hour to allow cinnamon candies to partially melt.
  • Bake 30 minutes at 350.
  • Remove from oven then spread marshmallows on top and bake 5 minutes.

    I have a bushel of sweet potatoes,I am going to make this as soon as I can! Everything we love all mixed together...can't get any better than this! Thanks for posting this.
