Tried And True Died And Gone To Heaven Cinnamon Sweet Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients

Cinnamon Sweet Potatoes

29 ounce can sweet potatoes

8 ounce can crushed pineapple

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1/2 cup hot cinnamon candies

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 cup reserved pineapple juice

3/4 cup miniature marshmallows

Directions

Drain pineapple and reserve juice.

Place potatoes in a 1-1/2 quart casserole dish.

Mash potatoes with a potato masher.

Add drained pineapple, brown sugar, ground cinnamon and hot cinnamon candies.

Add pineapple juice then mix well to blend all ingredients.

Let potatoes sit at room temperature for 1 hour to allow cinnamon candies to partially melt.

Bake 30 minutes at 350.

Remove from oven then spread marshmallows on top and bake 5 minutes.
