Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375° F.
  • Grease a 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
  • Put seperated crescent rolls on bottom of pan,flatten and press seams together to make one big piece of dough and press edges up sides of pan slightly.
  • Sprinkle sausage over crust.
  • Sprinkle potatoes over sausage and top with cheese.
  • Beat eggs and milk in mixing bowl until well blended then pour over sausage, potatoes and cheese.
  • Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until set and golden brown.

    This was good. I was wishing for more potatoes and less sausage but that could be just me. I'd recommend a spicy sausage. I used turkey and it was a bit bland. Also, I did not separate the crescent rolls. I just unrolled the lot and put them in the pan. Mine was a bit browner than I wanted at 27 minutes so I think 25 would do just fine. I added a couple of pictures and a thread in IMI on 5/18/13.

    This one is great with bacon too, or if you can find bacon sausage (yum) and tons of cheddar cheese on top is great too!! I have even eaten a slice cold, on my way to work, it's great!!

    Easy enough for a nice leisurely weekend breakfast - Grizzly, that spicy buffalo sausage sounds awfully good...do you make your own?
