How to make it

  • Cook bacon until crisp and drain on paper towel. Saute the onion and garlic in bacon drippings until soft. Drain on paper towel. Chop the shrimp. Crumble the bacon in crock pot along with all other ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 1 hour until cheese is melted.

    Heck, we were so good I made this 3 times in a row! I was surprised to find that the amounts of spices were exactly right, too, not too hot or too mild. Of course after we polished off the last of the third batch, our halos were a bit tarnished, but it was worth it!

    20 lbs. of shrimp! You could make an awful lot of this dip with that much shrimp. But you must try it then - it is delicious. Enjoy!
