Snacky Smores, a twist on smores. My wife whipped these up yesterday when she saw I opened the marshmellows. This is a great candy bar style treat. Very easy to prepare.
Ingredients
- 1 small box golden grahams shopping list
- 1 bag of marshmellows shopping list
- 1/2 to 1 cup chocolate chips shopping list
- 4 tbsp butter shopping list
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract shopping list
How to make it
- Using a double boiler melt 2 tbsp butter and the marshmellows
- mix the golden grahams and melted marshmellows in nonstick pan
- flatten out the mixture in the pan quickly before the marshmellow sets up
- in a double boiler melt the remaining butter, chocolate chips, add the vanilla extract
- drizle the chocolate over the cereal/marshmellow mixture
- let stand for 1/2 hour to firm up
- cut into squares and serve
