6 Way Candy Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 box vanilla wafers
  • 1 stick butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 ( 6 oz. ) bag chocolate chips
  • 1 ( 6 oz. ) bag butterscotch chips
  • 1 small bag coconut
  • 1 can Eagle brand milk

Directions
  1. Spray 8 or 9 in. square baking dish with Pam
  2. Pour in vanilla wafers and crush with a potatoe masher.
  3. Add 1 stick of melted butter and stir into crumbs to make shell.
  4. Add 1 bag chocolate chips, one bag of butterscotch and 1 bag of coconut.
  5. Then pour 1 can of Eagle brand milk on top of this.
  6. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 - 20 min.

Sound like Magic bars.. I haven't made them in so long, I'm gonna try these.. yummmmmmm


I make a version of this too except I use a graham cracker crumb bottom and sometimes add walnuts or pecans to the toppings. This stuff is deadly!

6 ingredients!!! so 6 way candy i agress sounds like magic bars we call them 7 layer bars cause we add nuts on the top the drizzle the milk over top the whole thing!

Alterations


I bet shortbread cookies (e.g. Lorna Doone) would make a nice crust. Also, maybe lemon wafers, though I'm not sure how well that would go with the butterscotch pieces. Chocolate wafer cookies might me good though.
