Sounds wonderful! I have saved it.Can't wait to try it!

I love Kolaches! Thanks for a great recipe!

I love them too and you are both very welcome!

Look very nice and sounds like a sweet treat! MMMMMMMM!!!

I've been wanting to try these for years, your recipe looks so good. I'd probably use a variety of jams as well. Thank you for the great recipe!

You're very welcome!

LOVE the sound of these....THANK YOU..can you bring them by the office??

Our supermarket has a great bakery and sells these things. To die for....however, they charge the earth for them. Thank you for this easy recipe--I'm going to make them myself!

These are so easy to make. When I was little, if my mother had left over pastry dough from a pie she would make these little treats. Believe me, it was such a treat! I loved them then just as much as I enjoy them now.

Yes, they are delicious, and this is the same recipe that I have....make them every year at Christmas! I make them with apricot preserves.

My Grandma P would make these with a sweet nut filling that she made herself or with a stewed prune puree. Jam is easier and just as delcious. Thanks for the memory dear. They will be on our table again this year.

I love these cookies - but please tell me what I am doing wrong - I do not get two dozen when I make them! I have the same recipe that you do, but never seem to get much more than a dozen! They taste great - but I am thinking maybe they may taste better! Thanks!

Hi Lak and sorry to hear that you are not able to make 2 dozen Jam Kolaches. I don't know what you are doing wrong but possibly you are making them too big. Are you rolling the dough thin enough? I happen to love the recipe and have been making them for years. If your results are not to your liking, maybe use a different jam or preserve. You can always double the recipe and that would most certainly solve your problem.

My mother in law was raised in a Slovac neighborhood in PA and often told me about this dish...now I am going to try to make it myself. Heck, I'm sure an Italian can pepare Polish dishes! Phyllis
