A lovely light cookie to serve to company.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 2-3/4 cup flour
  • 2/3 cup confectioners sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons fresh poppyseeds

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients and mix well.
  2. Knead dough for a few minutes and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  3. Flour countertop and roll out dough 1/8 inch thick.
  4. Use cookie cutters to cut dough and place on a greased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees.
