Mexican Corn Pie Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 Large eggs
  • 1 8 3/4 oz. can cream style corn
  • 1 10 oz. pkg. frozen corn, thawed and drained
  • 1/2 C. Butter
  • 1/2 C. Cornmeal
  • 1 C. sour cream
  • 4 oz. Monterey Jack Cheese cut in 1/2 inch cubes
  • 4 oz. Cheddar Cheese cut in 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1 4 oz. mild chopped green chiles
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1/2 t. Worchester Sauce

Directions
  1. Grease a 10" pie plate generously w/shortening. In a large bowl beat eggs. Add remaining ingredients and stir until thoroughly mixed. Pour into pie plate and bake uncovered at ~350 for one hour.
  2. This can be served as a main dish or a side dish. You can use shredded cheese to save having to cube cheese. :o)
