How to make it

  • Bring first 5 ingredients to a boil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat, stirring often.
  • Separate biscuits in half, forming 2 rounds; cut each round in half.
  • Drop biscuit pieces, 1 at a time, into boiling mixture; stir gently.
  • Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer, stirring occasionally, 15 to 20 min.

THAT SOUNDS GREAT..When I was growing up and it was just my mom and I home... For a quick chicken and dumplings...We would add refrigerated biscuits to a can of cream of chicken soup...I loved it...

Whenever I make any can soups I always add milk & water . I didn't try it with this recipe but I am sure it would be better. Some of recipes lately I have been tring to cut down on carbs & calories so I use water since milk has carbs in it. I have sub. half& half when watching carbs. Thank you for this lol

I may try this, due to the ease of it. However, I think I may cut down the water, and add some milk to creamy it up some more. All water with cream condensed soups doesn't have the consistency that I prefer. When I try it I will re-post.
