Ingredients

How to make it

  • Brown chops in large frying pan.
  • Place onion slices on bottom of shallow baking pan.
  • Top with browned pork chops.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Combine chicken broth, mustard, water and pork chop juice in a cup and pour over chops.
  • Cover.
  • Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
  • Place a pork chop on plate on top of onions and spoon glaze over.

    Simple, quick and just lovely! I made this using thin boneless pork cutlets which are very lean so probably could have skipped the browning step. I'll try it again with a different cut of chops but everything else was just perfect. The onions are incredible! Glazed Pork Chop Casserole

    The cooking instructions and ingredients were spot on. I used a sweet onion and I'm not sure which I liked better; the totally tender pork chops or the savory onions.

    As with most things that are simple it was perfect. Its a pretty dish that I would be pleased to serve to guests. I fixed it up earlier in the day and had it ready to pop in the oven that night. Takes no time to toss together and is a very inexpensive dish that dresses up very nicely.
