Southern Sweet Potato Pie

A Southern favorite, Sweet Potato Pie.
Ingredients
- 2 cups mashed cooked sweet potatoes shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups brown sugar; packed firmly shopping list
- 1/4 pound butter; softened shopping list
- 3 eggs; beaten shopping list
- 1 cup buttermilk shopping list
- 1/2 cup molasses shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1-1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice shopping list
- 2 9-inch unbaked pie crusts shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Mix potatoes, brown sugar and butter well. Add other ingredients and mix well. Pour divided into two crusts. Bake 1 hour at 350°F.

When I make a sweet potato pie I usually have to make a pumpkin also. I prefer sweet potato and my better half prefers pumpkin. ^5. Thanks...Cheryl
