Beer Bread

- 3 cups self-rising flour ( don't use anything else -unless you make your own self-rising flour) shopping list
- 1/3 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 can beer, room temperature shopping list
- 1 stick butter or good brand margarine shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to350 degrees
- Stir all ingredients together with a large spoon.
- Grease a reg. size loaf pan (bread pan)
- Place mixture in pan.
- Pour melted butter on top & poke holes with fork.
- Bake 1 hour or until browned

I love beer bread. You know if you use 3 tsp of baking powder and 1ts of salt and 3 cups regular flour you have self rising flour. For those of us who never think about needing self rising flour till we are ready to bake LOL.
