This recipe can be for any amount of people. I put down 2 as there is only the 2 of us. You can use any type of spice you want but I love garlic. You can adjust your prep and cook time according to how you cook. I am slow and take many breaks.

Ingredients
  • 2 nice Pork Chops
  • Canola Oil
  • 2 heaping tablespoon all purpose flour
  • Garlic powder
  • Kosher salt
  • Fresh cracked pepper
  • Milk

Directions
  1. Pour enough canola oil for browning in frying pan
  2. Put pork chops in oil, sprinkle with garlic powder, salt and pepper
  3. Fry until nice and brown on low heat
  4. When chops are browned, take out and put in a sprayed casserole dish that has a lid
  5. Keep enough of the oil and the bits left after browning for the roux
  6. For the roux, add the flour to the hot oil keeping eye on low.
  7. Add more pepper as needed
  8. Stir until roux is a nice peanut butter brown color
  9. Add milk a little at a time until gravy is the right consistency
  10. Pour gravy over the pork chops
  11. Bake at 325 degrees until they are tender.
  12. Serve with rice, potatoes or egg noodles and a vegetable.
