Pasta With Marscapone Cheese And Walnuts Recipe

This is good as a side dish to fish or chicken or as a main dish with a dinner salad. This is easy to make and looks very impressive. You won't be disappointed.

Ingredients
- 4 ounces dried tricolor medium shell macaroni
- 1/4 cup sliced green onion
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 ounes mascarpone cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons finely shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts toasted
Directions
- Cook pasta according to package directions then drain and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan cook the green onion in butter over medium high heat for 1 minute.
- Reduce heat and add mascarpone cheese and cook and stir until cheese melts.
- Add milk and stir until sauce is smooth then stir in parmesan cheese.
- Pour sauce over pasta and toss to coat.
- Sprinkle with toasted walnuts.
