    YUM! These will be great Christmas presents to our family in Texas from us living in the NorthEast -- I'm calling them Yankee Pralines.
    Could have used a bit more specific instruction as I am a first-time confectioner. But I supplemented with the Joy of Cooking and they turned out perfect, even winging it without a candy thermometer!
