Ingredients
  • 1 package yellow cake mix (pudding-type)
  • oil and eggs as called for on cake mix package
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
  • powdered sugar, sifted

Directions
  1. Prepare cake mix according to package directions, using oil or butter and eggs, and reducing the water to 1/2 cup.
  2. Spread batter into a greased and floured 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Spoon cherry pie filling evenly over the batter, then swirl into the batter just enough to give a marbled effect.
  3. Bake cake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes, until cake bounces back when lightly touched.
  4. Cool and sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar.

Sounds good, might even be good frosted with a cream cheese icing. Great Post.

Fun recipe!

My kind of recipe, When it comes to baking I hang out with the Cave Man.

Sounds quite good. I have the ingredients for this so I just might make it tonight. I had thought to make dump cake but this sounds better. Thanks for posting.

I hate those stupid Geiko commercials, but I really like the sound of this!!!
