Very Easy Carmel Cinnamon Buns Recipe
If you love cinnamon buns & can't find time to make them, this will satisfy your craving in a very easy -to-make recipe. Not a bread pudding-Tastes like carmelized cinnamon buns.We love them.

Ingredients
  • 2 loaves frozen bread , thawed
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup raisins ( can omit if you want)
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 lg. box vanilla pudding ( NOT INSTANT)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. milk

Directions
  1. Butter 9 x 13-inch pan or 2 ( 8 in.) square pans
  2. Sprinkle with 1 cup nuts and raisins.
  3. Cut thawed bread into walnut-size pieces
  4. Fill pan.
  5. Mix together butter, pudding, sugar, cinnamon, and milk
  6. Pour over dough.
  7. Cover lightly with plastic wrap
  8. Refrigerate over night
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min. or until lightly brown.
  10. Cool in pan 10 min. before removing. INVERT PAN onto plate

Oh yeah - my mom would make these when we came to visit...my girls loved them. Not like bread pudding, but actual caramel cinnamon rolls. I believe she always inverted the pan after cooling for the 10 minutes - is that how you do yours? Then the gooey wonderful syrup dripped all down the rolls...I'm getting very hungry suddenly. These are a sure winner, and so easy even the kids can help you make them!

I bet you this would be good with butterscotch pudding rather than the vanilla....

I might try this...I know my parents would love this one. Either that or I'll make a sweet bread dough in my bread maker and make the topping seperate and assemble it.
