How to make it

  • Cream butter and sugar in mixer bowl.
  • Beat in egg.
  • Add applesauce.
  • Mix flour, spices, soda, and salt in a separate bowl and add to the wet ingredients.
  • Mix well.
  • Stir in raisins by hand.
  • Spoon batter into oil sprayed 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
  • Bake at 350 F for 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Cool completely.
  • Frost.
  • Cut into bars.
  • Makes 2 dozen bars.

    I had this on My Stuff page and I didn't look at it. thinking another recipe that will look so good that I won't beable to have.. Now I see it in the Wheat Free group and I'm thrilled.. I'm wondering if we could someplace put GF in the recipe titles? what do you think?
