How to make it

  • Put oil and chopped onion in a large skillet.
  • Turn heat to medium high and cook onion stirring occasionally until pale golden.
  • Add chopped garlic then stir and when garlic is fragrant add parsley and chile pepper.
  • Stir once or twice then add tomatoes.
  • Turn all ingredients over once or twice then reduce heat and cook at a steady simmer.
  • When oil floats free from the tomato add shrimp to pan along with salt and capers.
  • Turn shrimp over several times to coat well.
  • When shrimp have lost their shiny raw color they are done.
  • Serve at once with the juices from the pan.

    I was looking for something spicy and low fat will add some scallops and other veggies and serve it over whole grain noodles of some sort. Thanks
