WHAT!!!!!!Your favorite burger is not the IN and OUT burger??? Ha, Ha! Seriously though, being from Indiana, we plan that our first stop from the airport every year is at I&O. You always want what you can't have and that place is synonymous with our favorite place in the world--San Diego. But I have definitely saved your burger recipe for the rest of the year when we are back in Indiana. Thanks for the great recipe, and I will be looking at your other amazing recipes soon. Marcia

I make this and have it posted as well. IT originated from James Beard...I usually end up putting in some extra cream...so its a julia childs touch, lol but it is the best burger around!
