60 Second Chocolate Mousse Recipe

60 Second Chocolate Mousse Recipe
This is, without a doubt, the easiest, fastest, best chocolate mousse ever! I made this so many times last Christmas. It's very rich, so be careful and don't overload. Use GOOD chocolate chips.

Ingredients
  • 1 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. heavy cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla or liqueur to flavor
  • Whipped cream

Directions
  1. Place chocolate, egg and flavoring in blender or food processor and chop. Heat cream until small bubbles appear at edge. Do not boil. With machine running, pour in hot cream. Blend until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Pour into dessert dishes and cover with plastic and chill. Serve with whipped cream on top.
  2. Could even use mint chocolate chips, raspberry chocolate chips, Andes candies bits, etc. etc. etc.

Sounds really good!

Another one for me to add to the list - love the ease of this, especially around the holidays when it's so hectic but you want to make something that tastes good AND looks like you spent a lot of time doing it...this sounds perfect!

I have had this recipe forever. I have not ever tried it. Since you said it is good. I am going to make this for Thanksgiving...heck maybe this weekend! Yes, this weekend. The blender is out. Thank you for posting this.
