Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cook the fettuccine, drain well and quickly return to the kettle.
  • Add the butter and cheese; toss until the noodles are evenly coated.
  • Serve immediately, topped with the pepper.
  • That's it - couldn't be simpler. I posted this for Scoobydrew's "Alredo Fans" group, since he is looking for variations on this non-Italian Italian dish! Enjoy...but then you might want to run an extra 15 or 20 miles for the week...

Are you sure that 1 pound of butter is enough?
    Sounds really good though.
    I'm a non-Italian Italian too.

Heavenly, heavenly, heavenly. What more can be said! One special day, this will be my meal! And maybe the ONLY meal that day!! But I really think it would worth it! Thanks, just reading it, is soothing. :)
