How to make it

  • Heat oven to 350. Butter a 11/2 qt. baking dish.
  • Chop onion. In a lg. frying pan,heat the oil over med. heat. Add onion,cover and cook until tender,about 5 mins.
  • Add frozen vegetables,marjoram,3/4t.salt and 1/2t pepper. Cook until tender,stirring occasionally,about 5 mins.
  • Meanwhile,grate chees. Beat eggs with 1/2t. salt. Transfer vegetable mixture to a bowl Stir in bisquick, 1c. of the cheese and egg mixture until well combined.
  • Transfer to prepared baking dish. Sprinkle top with remaining 1/2c. cheese. Bake until puffed and set,about 25 mins.

    Sounds great - your bread and veggies all in one once you add the cheese that just makes it impossible to pass up. I have tried the Bisquick quick pies before and they all turn out so well - I definitely need to try this one asap!

    This sounds like a wonderful side dish! Everyone gets so tired of the same old thing and this will be a nice change.

    This sounds wonderful! I will try these today, I have a 7yr old that wont try anything green unless it has cheese or it comes in the form of a gummy worm...lol. Thank you for this recipe!
