Sadies Macaroni And Shrimp Salad

- 1-1/2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni shopping list
- 1 lb shrimp shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions shopping list
- 1/2 cup celery; sliced fine shopping list
- 1/2 cup sliced black pitted olives shopping list
- 1/4 cup dill pickles; chopped fine shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon fine ground white pepper shopping list
- 6 hard boiled eggs; coarsely chopped shopping list
- 1 cup Sadie's Salad Dressing; * See Recipe shopping list
How to make it
- Cook the eggs and refrigerate until needed.
- Cook, and peel the shrimp. Refrigerate until ready to mix.
- Cook macaroni, chill in iced water to cool, then drain.
- In a large bowl, mix macaroni, shrimp, onions, celery, olives, pickles, salt and pepper and toss well, then add chopped eggs and gently toss to mix.
- Spoon on the dressing and gently toss to mix thoroughly. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Note: Sadie is from Natchitoches, Louisiana, is pronounced [NAK-ah-dish]. I never met her but her salad is a real crowd pleaser.
