How to make it

  • Cook the eggs and refrigerate until needed.
  • Cook, and peel the shrimp. Refrigerate until ready to mix.
  • Cook macaroni, chill in iced water to cool, then drain.
  • In a large bowl, mix macaroni, shrimp, onions, celery, olives, pickles, salt and pepper and toss well, then add chopped eggs and gently toss to mix.
  • Spoon on the dressing and gently toss to mix thoroughly. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Note: Sadie is from Natchitoches, Louisiana, is pronounced [NAK-ah-dish]. I never met her but her salad is a real crowd pleaser.
