Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cook bacon until crisp and set aside; crumble when cooled
  • Pour off all but about 2 Tbl of drippings and saute onion and pepper until tender
  • Stir in bread crumbs, crumbled bacon, parsley and season salt; add broth to moisten
  • Stuff mushroom caps, place in shallow pan with a small amount of water ( ΒΌ inch deep)
  • Bake at 325 for about 25 mins.

    I am so tired of seafood stuffed mushrooms. It's nice to see an alternative as good as yours. I'll have to save this recipe and serve them with a holiday meal.
