Oh So Good Holiday Sugar N Spice Cookies Recipe

Oh So Good Holiday Sugar N Spice Cookies Recipe
EASY T and T recipe..Can be mixed quickly. The smell of cinnamon, cloves and ginger finding its way through the house sends a signal of warmth and coziness. Besides that, the taste of cookies is loved by all! GREAT RECIPE!

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup molasses (most of the time, I use Grandma's)
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon cloves
  • 3/4 teaspoon ginger

Directions
  1. In large mixer bowl, mix first 4 ingredients together
  2. Mix thoroughly, but don't overbeat
  3. Sift next 5 ingredients together
  4. Add to other ingredients
  5. Mix all thoroughly
  6. Form into balls the size of small walnuts
  7. Place about 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet
  8. Bake in 375 degree oven for about 10-12 minutes
  9. NOTE: I stated that the recipe makes 2 dozen. Wish I could have said "more or less" :)
