Make your own Gummi Bears

Ever see the price per pound for gummi bears or worms etc in the store?? Make your own, cheap and any flavor you want. Can be enhanced with a touch of extracts of your choice. My kids loved making this. Never tried it with sugar free jello. Read more Anyone game?? See less
Ingredients
- 1 small box Jello with sugar (any flavor) shopping list
- 7 envelopes unflavored gelatin shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
How to make it
- Place all ingredients in a saucepan and hand mix until the mixture looks like dough
- Place pan over low heat and stir until melted.
- Once completely melted, pour into plastic candy molds or any molds you prefer.
- put it in the freezer for 5 min.
- Put them in the frig for 5 min
- Take them out
- When very firm remove from the mold and munch! For sour gummies spritz lightly with water and sprinkle with Kosher sour salt (also known as ascorbic acid or vitamin c powder)

where can I get unflavored gelatin? is it the same as jello mix only unflavored? would i find it in a regular supermareket like pathmark or foodtown or somewhere?
