Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grease and flour a 13x9 pan.
  • Cream together butter and brown sugar.
  • Beat in eggs until well mixed.
  • Then beat in the maple syrup until blended.
  • Beat in flour and baking powder.
  • Mix in chopped walnuts.
  • Spread batter evenly in pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min
  • Cool and cut into squares.
  • These make a great dessert if you serve them warm with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream over them.

    What a great twist on the chocolate brownie - I am looking forward to trying this one out...I know we will love the maple flavor!

    I've never tried brownies like this before. I guess I'll just have to make some of these. I love maple flavored foods especially at this time of year. Good going, Anne. This sounds like a good recipe.
