This is a peanut butter flavored cookie that is topped with a Hershey kiss and is another family favorite that I have been making for a very long time.

Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups of flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar(packed firm)
- 48 Hershey Kisses
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 egg
- 2 T milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
Directions
- Combine all ingredients except the kisses.
- Mix well and shape into balls about a teaspoon size.
- Roll balls in sugar and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes.
- After baking top each cookie with a kiss so cookie cracks.
- Makes 48 cookies.
