Ingredients

GRANDMA'S MOLASSES COOKIES

1 1/4 c. flour

3/4 baking soda

1/2 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 c. molasses (I use dark)

1 1/2 c. quick oatmeal

1 c. raisins

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 c. nuts, chopped

1/2 c. shortening

1/2 c. sugar (1/2 splenda)

2 eggs

Directions

Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and spices in mixing bowl. Add nuts and rest of ingredients. Mix until blended. To make jumbo cookies use 1/4 cup dough, for small cookies for use 1 teaspoon heaping drop on ungreased cooking sheet. 12 minutes. 4 dozen small or 1 dozen jumbo cookies
