Omas Molasses Oatmeal Cookies

Big dark chewy soft molasses cookies with nuts! Childhood memories are extra!
Ingredients
- GRANDMA'S molasses cookies shopping list
- 1 1/4 c. flour shopping list
- 3/4 baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/2 c. molasses (I use dark) shopping list
- 1 1/2 c. quick oatmeal shopping list
- 1 c. raisins shopping list
- 1 tsp. cinnamon shopping list
- 1 c. nuts, chopped shopping list
- 1/2 c. shortening shopping list
- 1/2 c. sugar (1/2 splenda) shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
How to make it
- Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and spices in mixing bowl. Add nuts and rest of ingredients. Mix until blended. To make jumbo cookies use 1/4 cup dough, for small cookies for use 1 teaspoon heaping drop on ungreased cooking sheet. 12 minutes. 4 dozen small or 1 dozen jumbo cookies
