How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375.F
  • In mixing bowl, cream brown sugar and butteruntil smooth. Blend in milk, vanilla and egg.
  • Stir flour, soda and salt together.
  • Add flour mixtue to creamed mixture, blending to make a smooth dough. Add the pecans.
  • Spoon by rounded spoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly golden.
  • Remove immediately from cookie sheets. Cool on racks.
  • -------------- VARIATIONS -------------
  • Chocolate-Pecan:
  • Add 1 cup chocolate chips to the dough along ith the pecans.
  • Coconut:
  • Add 2 cups flaked coconut the dough in place of the pecans.

    4 cups of milk is waaay waaay to much. I just had to throw out the whole bowl. I was wondering how it would all come together.... I think the milk measurement needs to be checked. could be a good recipe though!!!

    HO HO is good to be Santa...! (can I have these on my Santa snack plate? Please!) Since I have to play juggle the sugar...THESE sound like a good the have a couple and get a BIG flavor!
